Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Shared a Rare Look at Their Summer Date Style While Trolling Each Other

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds shared a rare look into their date last night, and it was incredibly sweet. But don’t think for second they didn’t include some trolling in their big night.

They celebrated the 10th anniversary of their first date (2011 was 10 years ago!), by going to their favorite restaurant, o ya, in Boston. Reynolds posted a selfie with the two of them outside the restaurant sign and included a little troll (“her fourth favorite date”). Knowing these two, that part of the post was to be expected, but Reynolds made one particular crucial mistake when he cropped the pic:

Do you see it? No? Well, Lively definitely did.

The cute earrings! You must always include the cute earrings.

They also took some full-length outfit photos, featuring this very summer-perfect black-and-white polka-dot dress and black sandals. Reynolds wore a blue button-down with a red pattern, jeans, and tan sneakers:

They also took a photo with the staff at o ya; Lively noted how special this place is to their relationship.

Lively and Reynolds were first romantically linked in 2011, when People reported Lively was spotted leaving Reynolds’s Boston apartment in October of that year. Going by the fact that these two just celebrated the 10th anniversary of their first date last night, July 31, they were definitely dating before the rest of the world was aware.

They married in 2012 in a secret wedding on a plantation in Charleston, for which they apologized last year.

“It’s impossible to reconcile. What we saw at the time was a wedding venue on Pinterest. What we saw after was a place built upon devastating tragedy,” Reynolds told Fast Company, in part.

They also wrote a joint Instagram statement that included the following: “We’re committed to raising our kids so they never grow up feeding this insane pattern and so they’ll do their best to never inflict pain on another being consciously or unconsciously. It’s the least we can do to honor not just George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and Eric Garner, but all the black men and women who have been killed when a camera wasn’t rolling.”
