Cancer Monthly Horoscope

MONTH OF June

Not so fast, Cancer! Your time to shine will come during the last week of June. But the three weeks leading up to Cancer (and birthday) season are a time to look back, debrief on the year you’re leaving behind and release anything you don’t want to bring along for your next trip around the Sun. With Mercury retrograde, you’re even more reflective now! A midmonth Saturn-Uranus square finds you juggling dueling desires for intimacy and freedom. Once Cancer season arrives on Sunday, June 20, you’ll bid adieu to the past and step back into the world for a fresh start. You may want to hold off just a bit when it comes to your bigger, bolder schemes, though. Wait to see what plays out with a partnership, either business or personal, that may reach a turning point at the June 24 full moon. With expansive Jupiter and creative Neptune also turning retrograde later in the month, you may just want to focus on planning for now, and put a temporary pin in those action steps for some of your bolder dreams.

The Sun is in Gemini until June 20

Wired or tired? You’ll be a little of both for the first three weeks of this month. Until June 11, energizer Mars is in Cancer, giving you a nice tailwind. However, both the Sun and Mercury retrograde are hunkered down in Gemini and your sleepy twelfth house of endings, closure and the subconscious until June 20. You’ll be feeling nostalgic and perhaps a bit foggy for the first three weeks of June. Side trips down memory lane, anyone—or a long siesta?

Catching some extra shut-eye and processing the past can be productive. Gemini is an imaginative sign, which will add richness to your reveries, and Mercury retrograde tends to be less disruptive and kinder when you’re looking backward rather than forward. Can you put some old baggage to bed or reconnect to your spiritual side? You’ll be using this time wisely if you engage in healing or forgiveness work.

Mars and Pluto get heated on June 5

You’re revved up for the first couple weeks of the month while go-getter Mars completes its biennial circuit through Cancer (April 23 to June 11). Have you been knocking it out of the park for the past few weeks—and maybe crashing from all that energy expenditure too?

When Mars opposes powermonger Pluto in your partnership zone on June 5, you could glean deeper insight into other people’s motives, including your own. The trick will be keeping your temper and emotions in check since these two combustible cosmic players could get into a volcanic showdown.

Pluto rules the unconscious (trigger warning from the skies!) and can cause us to project our feelings onto other people. TBH Cancer, this is something you already struggle with as an empath—where do they end and you begin? But be warned that if you try to tell someone how THEY feel instead of simply speaking about yourself, it may cause them to erupt in anger. You don’t have to make it all better. You just have to listen!

The June 10 Gemini solar eclipse revives your mystical and creative sides

Endings can also be powerful beginnings—a paradox you’ll experience at the June 10 Gemini solar eclipse. The supercharged fresh-start new moon happens to fall in your twelfth house of closure and release. A heartfelt confession or act of selfness sacrifice could earn you triple karma points today.

A creative or spiritual project might get a big boost from the eclipse. Ready to pick up an abandoned talent in earnest or to revive that yoga and breathwork practice? Unroll the canvas—and your mat—because you’ll see incredible results for your efforts by the time the December 18 Gemini FULL moon rolls around.

Saturn and Uranus clash again on June 14

Fan your feathers or fold them in? You could be torn between dueling desires for privacy and community midmonth. While this is always something of a Cancer dilemma (you can be a highly social homebody!), you’ll feel that tension profoundly on June 14, when tough Saturn and disruptive Uranus will meet in the second of class=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” this year’s three challenging 90-degree squares, shaking up the status quo.

With discerning Saturn in Aquarius and your intimate eighth house until 2023, you’re being asked to take serious stock of who gets inner-circle status. Saturn wants you to align with power players, investors and people who are there for the long haul. But you may have a few tough lessons before reaching that point. Are your boundaries a bit too porous—or, on the flip side, are your standards SO high that no mere mortal can meet them?

An investment, perhaps related to real estate, could occupy a lot of time and attention now. One Cancer friend of ours, a longtime homeowner, has decided to Airbnb her house while she lives in a small apartment. She’s never been happier, though she DOES have to spend a lot of time on bookings and guest management.

This is one example of how Saturn may need to reconcile with freedom-seeking Uranus in your virtual, liberated eleventh house. One part of you wants deep, permanent bonds while another side yearns to be untethered from all responsibility. With this particular combo, you could find yourself in the crypto space or investing in a technology-based endeavor. A long-distance relationship, at least part-time, could be just what the cosmos ordered. Finding the right balance between IRL and virtual for everything is the key to establishing the trust and connection you require.

Look back to February 17, the first of these Saturn-Uranus squares, for clues—and ahead to December 24, when this duo makes their final duel of 2021. Work on developing the courage and confidence to express emotional clarity. When you share from your gut, the Cancer-ruled area of the body, you’re invincible.

It’s Cancer season (and summer solstice) starting June 20

Sunday, June 20 could be one of the most important days of class=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” the month for you. Not only is it the start of Cancer season, but it’s also summer solstice—the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere—and Father’s Day. While the arrival of YOUR birthday season always marks the most appropriate time of the year to put yourself and your projects first, give yourself today to wake up, shake off the heavy vibes of the past four weeks and return your focus to numero uno. With Jupiter turning retrograde today (more on that in a minute), an exciting new venture might suddenly feel a bit overwhelming. Make sure you’re getting enough “me time” and not giving all your energy away.

The best way to determine that? Slow down and tune in! The word “solstice” derives from the Latin phrase “sol systere,” which translates to “Sun stands still.” As our central star reaches its highest point in the northern hemisphere, it appears to stop in its tracks for a couple days before starting its southward descent. Follow the leader and do the same! Halt anything that’s moving too swiftly and course correct for a few more days.

Jupiter goes retrograde on June 20

Another reason to pause for the cause? On Sunday, June 20, Jupiter—the planet of growth, luck and expansion—starts its annual four-month retrograde (backward) spin until October 18. This year, Jupiter will split its reverse commute between Pisces and Aquarius.

Until July 28, the celestial supersizer will back through Pisces and your ninth house of risk-taking, its native terrain. Have you been barreling ahead on an exciting venture that feels like a bit of a gamble? Hit the brakes, Crab. Relying on luck may have worked for the past month, but now you’ll be wise to slow down and make sure everything is cleared for liftoff. Did you make too many promises or plans in haste? Swallow your pride and scale back if need be. Better to test and “soft launch” than to spectacularly overshoot the mark.

Mercury retrograde is OVER June 22

At last! The three weeks of technology, communicatioclass=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” n and plan-making mixups, courtesy of Mercury retrograde, are over. While you may still feel some “retroshade” from Mercury’s shadow period until July 7, your muddled messaging and thinking of the past few weeks will start to clear up. Have you been hosting a pity party between your ears or ruminating on the bygone past? This emo funk will start to dispel, along with creative and mental blocks. Whew!

Close the deal at the June 24 Capricorn full moon

With the arrival of the Capricorn full moon on Thursday, June 24, your relationships will be in the spotlight. As these moonbeams illuminate your partnership zone, everything from your significant other to your business alliances could reach a turning point. Is it time to go deeper, even into official status? Or is it time to cut the ties that bind? At a full moon, things could go either way. Look back to the January 13 Capricorn new moon for clues about what could manifest now. If you’ve been on the fence about which way to go, you may get a clear signal.

One more retrograde (Neptune) starts June 25 (total of 4 planets)

Dream big but keep it manageable. On June 25, hazy Neptune turns retrograde in Pisces and your visionary ninth house until December 1, which could give you a case of “grass is greener” syndrome. You may need to scale down a little if you’ve rushed ahead or bitten off more than you can chew.

Instead of leaping without looking into a new opportunity, take the time to conduct due diligence over the next five months. Anything worth doing is worth doing right! You may use this Neptune period to correct course or even back out of a once-promising venture that’s plateaued. With Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto also retrograde, you could question everything from partnerships to investments to your long-term goals. Evaluate, perhaps with the help of a mentor, before you just exit stage left.

Venus brings your groove back on June 2

Who’s the most sizzling of them all this summer? Starting June 2, you’ll host both of the love planets, Venus and Mars, in YOUR sign! Red-hot super-attractor Mars has been heating up your libido since April 23 and will remain here until June 11. Turning heads without trying? Check! Venus surfs Cancer’s sensual seas until June 27, inspiring you to overhaul your style, add more glamour to your life and look. Ready to be romanced, wooed and pursued—or will you be the one initiating? It won’t matter while both love planets are in your home court.

Mars shifts into Leo on June 11, making security sexy

It’s been fun hosting lusty Mars in your sign, especially since the red planet only visits every other year! Now, Mars will settle into Leo and your stabilizing second house from June 11 to July 29, whetting your appetite for security instead of excitement.

The saying “no romance without finance” will apply with Mars in this budget-conscious zone (hey, maybe there’s a reason “finance” and “fiance” only have one letter different). Since Mars can add stress, coupled Crabs should watch for fights about money or a heavy work schedule. Make up for it by choosing quality over quantity. Be frugal a few nights a week by cooking in and you can splurge on a special dinner at a newly reopened al fresco brasserie or treat yourself (and your S.O.) to a couple’s massage as an early birthday gift for you!

Venus joins Mars in Leo on June 27

The sensuality factor turns up even higher on June 27 as sultry Venus joins Mars in Leo until July 11. If you haven’t (sensibly) splurged or upgraded a couple items of your wardrobe or home decor that have served their time, this window is perfect for that. With your naturally “lean” ways and nose for culture, you should be able to score a few deals on (safe) dining, shopping or even a night at a hotel to bring a little “normal” back to your love life.

With go-getter Mars in your sign from April 23 to June 11, you’re wrapping up an ambitious spring that’s been exciting but exhausting in equal measure. Ready to get back to a more balanced pace? On June 10, the Gemini solar eclipse lights up your restorative and conclusive twelfth house, sounding the call for self-care. The eclipse also helps you tune in to what your soul really wants to do for a living…and a lifestyle. Hint: If you’ve been going it alone for too long, maybe it’s time to start searching for kindred spirits who can complement your quest. The June 24 Capricorn full moon lands in your partnership zone, sparking dynamic duo talks and possibly a contract or an exciting offer! If you’ve been waiting all month for the final word on an opportunity, these moonbeams could deliver that answer.

Love Days: 21, 25

Money Days: 30, 14

Luck Days: 12, 2

Jennifer Lopez Joined Ben Affleck In L.A. With Kids For Thanksgiving

On Wednesday night, Jennifer Lopez arrived in Los Angeles with her 13-year-old twins Max and Emme. The family was likely there to join Lopez’s boyfriend, Ben Affleck, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Lopez recently returned from the much colder climate of British Columbia, Canada, where she was filming her latest project, The Mother.

J. Lo touched down in her private jet wearing a teddy fur coat from Coach’s Autumn/Winter 2019 collection, and a pair of Ugg boots. Classic airplane outfit, celebrity style. Lopez and Affleck originally dated in 2002 and broke up in 2004. Their romance was rekindled earlier this year, soon after Lopez ended her relationship with baseball player Alex Rodriguez. The new couple went official in July, while celebrating Lopez’s 52nd birthday abroad.

Affleck’s most recent relationship with Ana de Armas ended in January after about a year together. He had divorced ex-wife Jennifer Garner in 2015 after being married for almost a decade. Garner and Affleck had three daughters, Violet, Seraphina, and Sam.

Before traveling back to the U.S., Lopez posted a story to Instagram Reels about how grateful she was to be headed home.

“Hey everybody, it’s my last day here shooting on The Mother out in Smithers in the snow, it’s been beautiful, but tonight I’m on my way home,” she said, as she walked through the wild landscape in a black coat and beanie.

“I’m so excited for Thanksgiving! I hope everybody has an amazing weekend with their families and their loved ones, there’s so much to be grateful for this year. I’m on my way!”

This is the first major holiday of the year since Lopez and Affleck reunited, so it’s likely to be a big one for both families.
