Why LolaVie, you ask? The name holds personal significance to Aniston. While the Friends and Morning Show star has been affectionately nicknamed Lola by some of her closest friends, the name Lola also represents a complete lifestyle approach, with the French word vie literally translating to “life.” To Aniston, the greater message behind the brand represents taking ownership of who you are while doing things (especially your beauty routine) your own way.
After an initial tease of the line’s release with a few cryptic social media posts, LolaVie’s first product, the multitasking Glossing Detangler, is now available to shop. The lightweight spray was created to help detangle strands, smooth knots, boost shine, and guard against heat damage—all for $25 a pop. The Glossing Detangler can be used on wet or towel-dried hair, and contains a blend of natural ingredients—like chia seeds, vegetable ceramides, lemon extract, renewable bamboo essence, and more—to power its repair and conditioning benefits. It also features recyclable packaging and is even Leaping Bunny certified.

From overseeing product development and marketing to helming creative direction, Aniston has been involved in just about every step of LolaVie’s creation leading up to its official launch. “This project has been in the works for a long time and I’m so excited to finally be able to introduce it to you,” the star shared in a personal Instagram post. “So much hard work from our incredible team went into making this line — and we’re really proud to say it’s been made WITHOUT all the bad stuff. We’re paraben-free, silicone-free, sulfate-free, phthalates-free, gluten-free, vegan… and of course cruelty-free, because we love our animals.” Haircare isn’t totally new to Aniston: She previously worked with the brand Living Proof.
