This weekend’s appearances come after Kate self-isolated during the week due to COVID-19 exposure. A spokesperson for Kensington Palace told CNN, “Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home.” CNN reported that Kate was alerted of the possible exposure last Friday afternoon and that a source informed the outlet that Kate had received both doses of her COVID-19 shot.
Kate shared a photo of herself getting her first dose of the shot on Kensington Palace’s Instagram on May 29. She wrote in the caption, “Yesterday I received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at London’s Science Museum. I’m hugely grateful to everyone who is playing a part in the rollout—thank you for everything you are doing.”
