Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are on good enough terms now that they’re getting photographed having dinner at Nobu with their friends. West and Kardashian were spotted alongside each other at the California restaurant, joined by SKIMS’ CMO Tracy Romulus and her husband Ray Romulus, according to TMZ. Always one to have a fashion moment, Kardashian wore a head-to-toe purple Balenciaga catsuit with a long maroon leather coat. West wore a black T-shirt and chain necklace.
Their joint outing comes just weeks after E! reported in early September that Kardashian, who filed for divorce from West in February, was “open” to the idea of reconciling with him.
“Kim is not rushing the divorce,” a source told the outlet. “She and Kanye are in a good place right now, and she is not on a rushed timeline to push the divorce forward.” West, meanwhile, reportedly wants to be with Kardashian again.
“Kanye has expressed that he wants her back, and Kim is open to it, but wants to focus first on rebuilding their foundation and friendship back stronger,” the source said.
TMZ first reported that the two were privately reconsidering ending their marriage and trying to repair their relationship at the end of August.
The outlet wrote at the time, “There actually is a chance they could get back together. They’ve been spending time together privately and ‘working on rebuilding the foundation of their relationship.’” The two particularly have “many areas of disagreement that have to be worked out” but “want what’s best for their kids.”
Kardashian and West have four children together: North, 8; Saint, 5; Chicago, 3; and Psalm, 2. The two have not publicly commented on their relationship status, but the Kardashian-Jenners are filming a new reality show now for Hulu, so it being a plot point is not out of the question.
