Megan Fox continued her big week with her Met Gala appearance tonight in New York City. Fox appeared without her boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly on the red carpet this time. She channeled vintage pinup vibes, wearing a stunning red lace-up dress by Dundas with a high leg slit. Her har was styled into a braid with baby bangs.
It comes one night after Fox and Kelly hit the red carpet at the MTV VMAs.
Page Six reported last week that an MTV VMAs engagement announcement could happen because Fox was seen wearing a ring on her left ring finger during Kelly’s rehearsal performance of “Papercuts.” The two didn’t confirm it in reality.
Fox and Kelly started dating last year. The two have been very serious about each other for some time. Kelly recently described Fox in deep terms when asked what she was like in InStyle‘s July profile on Fox.
“She’s like the earth,” he began. “When it’s summer, it’s the hottest summer. When it’s winter, it’s the most amazing chill. In the fall and spring, it’s a beautiful transition. She is unlike any person I have ever met in my life.”
He added that their relationship is truly rare: “I just want people to understand this is real,” he said. “I don’t think people get the opportunity to believe in real, great love, and that’s what we have together.” Kelly said that he and Fox are committed to each other on a “different level.”
Fox first talked about her instant spark with Kelly last year during her interview with Lala Kent and Randall Emmett on their podcast, Give Them Lala … With Randall last July. Fox also used supernatural terms to describe their connection: “I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame,” she said. “Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”
“I think it was the second day [of filming],” she continued. “I asked him to come into my trailer for lunch, and I put him through all of this astrology stuff. I went deep right away. I knew before I even did his chart, I said to him, he has a Pisces moon. I could tell by his energy.”
