Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles are still going strong six months after news broke that the two are romantically involved. They are reportedly on a romantic trip in Tuscany right now, after Styles wrapped shooting My Policeman in London.
On the heels of the trip news, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the two are very happy—and serious.
“It’s obvious that this was not a rebound or a short fling,” the source said. “They care so much about each other and have a deep connection.” The source continued: “They’re pretty low key and have enjoyed being somewhat out of the public eye.”
The source said that the couple has been able to spend time together in Styles’s home country, England.
Wilde and Styles worked together on Don’t Worry Darling, Wilde’s second directing project following her debut, Booksmart (2019). Styles replaced Shia LaBeouf after LaBeouf was reportedly dropped from the project for what a source told Variety was “poor behavior” and a violation of Wilde’s “zero asshole policy.”
The actress and director spoke about Styles for the first time in a December interview with Vogue:
“To me, he’s very modern, and I hope that this brand of confidence as a male that Harry has—truly devoid of any traces of toxic masculinity—is indicative of his generation and therefore the future of the world,” she said in the profile. “I think he is in many ways championing that, spearheading that. It’s pretty powerful and kind of extraordinary to see someone in his position redefining what it can mean to be a man with confidence.”
