On the Fourth of July, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana will turn one month old. And already, her dad Harry is sharing a bit about his baby girl’s personality, especially in contrast to her two-year-old big brother Archie.
Harry spoke a little about Archie and Lili at the WellChild Awards tonight in London. He told a guest, via Hello!, that Lili has a calm temperament. “We’ve been lucky so far, she’s very chilled and seems happy to just sit there while Archie is running around like crazy,” Harry said. Ed Sheeran congratulated Harry on his daughter’s arrival, and the Duke of Sussex admitted to the singer when asked how he’s managing, “Two is definitely a juggle.”
Harry is currently in the U.K. for the Princess Diana statue unveiling event tomorrow, July 1, where he will reunite with his brother Prince William for the first time since their grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral in April. Meghan remained in California with Archie and Lili, as she just gave birth to Lili on June 4.
Meghan and Harry released a short statement about their first impressions of Lili when their Archewell Foundation announced Lili’s birth. “On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili,” the couple said. “She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently on parental leave following Lili’s birth. They will return to work in the fall.
