There’s a reason Scarlett Johansson hasn’t been to any of the Black Widow premieres in person, Page Six reports: The Marvel actress is expecting her second child, her first with her new husband Colin Jost. Multiple sources confirmed the news of Johansson’s pregnancy to the outlet and explained she was trying to keep a low-profile during it.
One said, “Scarlett is actually due soon, I know she and Colin are thrilled.”
Another added, “Scarlett is pregnant but has been keeping it very quiet. She has been keeping a very low profile.”
A third Hamptons source said that Johansson really has modified her day-to-day, seemingly in order to maintain privacy right now: “Scarlett usually spends a lot of the summer out in Amagansett and Montauk, and you’d often see her walking her dogs on the beach or getting coffee. But this summer it seems like she is deliberately trying to keep a low profile.”

Neither Johansson nor Jost have confirmed the news themselves or through their reps. The couple got married in October 2020. This will be Jost’s first child and Johansson’s second: She has a six-year-old daughter Rose with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac.
Jost spoke last July about his hope to start a family soon. “It’s strange because a switch kind of flipped for me [with fatherhood]–I don’t know–a year or two ago or something,” he told USA Today. “It’s definitely on my mind. It’s gonna be, I’m sure, very challenging, but I also think it could be really fun.”
