It was an evening full of fashion, fun, and literature. Last night, actress and model Emily Ratajkowski celebrated the debut of her new book, My Body, at Tory Burch’s swanky new Mercer Street store in downtown Manhattan. The event was co-sponsored by PEN America, a not-for-profit human rights advocacy organization that supports the freedom of expression among writers.
The highly anticipated release analyzes what it means to be a woman and a commodity through a collection of essays that recount Ratajkowski’s own experiences in the limelight.

During the event, attendees were able to shop Burch’s fall collection before a panel discussion between Ratajkowski and Three Women author Lisa Taddeo. Topics ranged from female desire and motherhood to relationships between women, all of which are central themes in My Body.
“The most fulfilling thing in my life is my friendships and relationships with other women,” said Ratajkowski, who wore a sheer brown jersey top over a yellow floor-length pleated skirt from Burch’s spring/summer 2022 collection. She accessorized with the brand’s mini crossbody bag and Banana Heel Boots.
Other VIPs in attendance included Karlie Kloss, who toted around Burch’s ultra-chic Lee Radziwill bag, Tommy Dorfman in a peek-a-boo bralette and slick pencil skirt, and Ziwe who donned a ’60s-inspired tweed miniskirt set. The hostess herself looked perfectly on-brand in a boatneck top and pinstripe trousers—by Tory Burch, naturally.
